Seven yachts for your week in the Cyclades

You asked about Alteya, so she is first. But if the group is set on Mykonos, my money is on Majesty of Greece — she is the only one here that starts there. The table below puts all seven side by side.

How a Greek charter is priced

Base charter rate The yacht itself, its insurance and the professional crew.
VAT In Greece 6.5% of the base rate on every yacht here, set by the vessel’s licensing.
APA — your onboard account 25–30% of the base rate, paid up front. It covers fuel, all food and drink, moorings and port taxes. The captain keeps receipts and refunds whatever is left.
Your itinerary Built around what your group wants and adjusted daily for weather.
Crew gratuity 10–15% of the base rate in the Mediterranean, handed to the crew at the end of the week. Discretionary, but expected.

Seven is a lot to hold in your head. Use the buttons on each yacht to keep the ones you like and set aside the ones you do not — the page remembers your choices, and everyone in the group can do their own pass.

All seven side by side

Totals are approximate and already include VAT and APA, so these are comparable numbers. Click a yacht name to jump to the full write-up.

Sunreef 70 · power catamaran · 2022 · Marina Nea Peramos, Attica

Alteya
AlteyaAlteyaAlteya

You asked about Alteya by name, so I put her first. Sunreef build the most luxurious catamarans on the water — solid, beautifully finished, and quick for a power cat at around 12 knots.

Five crew for eight guests is a ratio you feel all week. Master cabin with a walk-in closet, three queens, all en suite, and the toy locker runs to a jet ski, a Seabob and a proper gym set-up.

What not to expectHer June calendar has a hole in the middle: she is free until 4 June and again from 14 June. If your group is set on the second week of June, she is not the boat. She is also the second most expensive on this list — about €24,000 more than the three Fountaine Pajots.
€80,535 €59,000 base + 6.5% VAT + 30% APA €1,438 per person / night  ·  €2,876 per couple / night Approximate total for 7 nights, 8 guests. Anything unspent from the APA comes back to you.

Fountaine Pajot 67 · power catamaran · 2025 · starts in Mykonos

Majesty of Greece
Majesty of GreeceMajesty of GreeceMajesty of Greece

Your group wants Mykonos, and this is the only yacht here that simply starts there. That removes the long, weather-dependent haul from Athens — the single biggest thing that can spoil a Cycladic week.

She sleeps ten, so your eight get a spare cabin for luggage and nobody is squeezed. Five matching en-suite queens, a foredeck lounge with a built-in jacuzzi, and she is a 2025 boat.

What not to expectOne week only: 1–7 June. The rest of her June is booked, so this needs deciding early rather than comfortably. If your dates cannot move, look at Alena.
€56,545 €43,000 base + 6.5% VAT + 25% APA €1,010 per person / night  ·  €2,020 per couple / night Approximate total for 7 nights. The same money as Alena and Elly, but you board where you wanted to be.

Alena

Same hull as Majesty of Greece but a four-cabin layout with the galley below, which buys you a noticeably larger saloon. For eight people who will spend the evenings together, that is the trade worth making.

She starts in Paros, a short hop from Mykonos, and her dates are the most forgiving of the boats that can reach the islands you want.

What not to expectEnding the week in Santorini is possible but costs an extra day plus VAT — about €6,542 in June — because the yacht needs a full day to get back. Honestly, Santorini is a poor island to see from a boat. Fly there for two nights before or after instead.

Her whole June is open, so she is the one boat here that bends to your dates instead of the other way round. If the group takes weeks to agree — and groups of eight usually do — this is the safe choice.

She is a sailing catamaran rather than a power cat, and the amenities are unusually good: an anti-jelly sea pool, a home cinema projector and a proper gym corner.

What not to expectSailing means slower. Under way she will not cover the ground a power catamaran does, so a Mykonos-and-back week from Athens is tighter than it looks on a map. Plan a smaller loop and enjoy it properly.

Elly II
Elly IIElly IIElly II

Size on a catamaran grows exponentially, so a 75 is dramatically bigger inside than the 67s — not eight feet bigger, a different class of space. Full king bed in the master, deck jacuzzi, e-foil, and her calendar is wide open.

For the money she is the best value in the premium tier: €4,000 less than Alteya for a great deal more room.

What not to expectShe is still being built. The photographs you will find are stock images of the model, not this hull, and she has no track record and no crew reviews yet. That is a real gamble on a €84,000 week, and I would not push you towards it unless space is what matters most.
€84,160 €64,000 base + 6.5% VAT + 25% APA €1,503 per person / night  ·  €3,006 per couple / night Approximate total for 7 nights. A strong rate for a new yacht of this size.

Nothing else here comes close on amenities: a six-person jacuzzi, a steam sauna in the master shower, a fireplace in the saloon, a cinema screen on the flybridge with a popcorn machine, two jet skis and two e-foils.

Her chef won the culinary competition at the 2026 Greek yacht show, which for a week where every meal is on board is not a small detail. Despite the catamaran hull she reads more like a motor yacht inside.

What not to expectThe cabins are not equal. With four couples that is the conversation you have on day one and someone loses it — which is exactly why I put Majesty of Greece first. She is also the priciest boat here, and her top speed of 21 knots comes with fuel consumption that will show up in your APA.
€88,725 €65,000 base + 6.5% VAT + 30% APA €1,584 per person / night  ·  €3,169 per couple / night Approximate total for 7 nights, 8 guests. The most expensive week on this list.

Half the price of the 67s and still a comfortable, well-run boat with a good crew. Four queen cabins all en suite, including a master and a VIP, and an open-air cinema on the flybridge with a 70-inch screen.

Being a power catamaran she moves between islands quickly without the fuel bill of a bigger boat, which keeps your APA down as well as your rate.

What not to expectAthens to Athens only — she cannot start or finish in Mykonos, so the long haul across is part of your week whether the weather cooperates or not. She is also 54 feet for eight people: a good boat, but a noticeably tighter one.
€32,760 €24,000 base + 6.5% VAT + 30% APA €585 per person / night  ·  €1,170 per couple / night Approximate total for 7 nights, 8 guests. Just over a third of what Samara costs.

What a week can look like

Nothing here is fixed — the captain shapes each day around what your group wants and what the weather allows. These are four routes to argue over.

If none of these seven is right, say so and I will come back with a different size or budget. There are plenty more.

Terms and payments

StageWhenAmount
Free hold Right now, one email €0 — release it any time, no consequences
Signing the contract Once your group has decided 50% of the base charter rate
Balance, VAT and APA 35–60 days before embarkation The remaining 50%, plus VAT and APA
Crew gratuity Last day, handed to the crew 10–15% of the base rate, at your discretion

Worth knowing: deposits are non-refundable, so I always advise trip cancellation insurance — with eight people the odds that something comes up for somebody are not small. Every contract also states that itineraries are subject to weather.
