A week in Fiji
The charter went perfectly. Luke and his crew was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Luke made us feel at home and welcome, going out of his way to accommodate our travel schedule and fill it with things to do. It was above and beyond. Nigel’s food was amazing and out of this world. We had so many great and unique experiences, from the manta ray dive to sunset bonfire on the beach to meeting a local school to drinking kava with village elders to catching so many fish to countless water sports. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Honestly, it was fabulous all around.
Papua New Guinea
We all have had a great time. I thought the crew was just incredible - I am so glad I trusted my instincts and went with the most seasoned crew over the new more modern yacht. Dan and his crew organized incredible, unique, and fun activities including very special interactions with the locals and special festive events on the De Lisle III. We had yacht Olympics, team game night, my son’s graduation, Fourth of July, and my wife’s birthday. Even more important, Dan kept the physical activities rolling like scuba, fishing, and water skiing every day just the way we like it. In addition, the interaction with the locals filled with happy little kids were lifetime experiences. David and Kila got us incredible access to their lives and the warmest of welcomes. We got to crew on their outriggers in a race and play soccer with them - none of us will ever forget it. We also did an incredible hike up to a waterfall with locals helping us the whole way. Finally, the fishing was fantastic, we caught more and larger fish than we have on the last 5 trips combined.
Dan is a wonderful host and Captain and Elle is an outstanding Chief Stew. Tyler, Poppy, Jess, and Tony are also all excellent and a real pleasure to have with us. I think Nigel is one of our best chefs ever and we experienced many. Tony gave us a wonderful tour of the engine room and even let me do an oil change… kidding. The entire crew is good professional and incredibly good natured.

Growing up in Brisbane, my love for the ocean began when my dad built a 54-foot sailing yacht. Days spent fishing, snorkelling, sliding down sand dunes, and enjoying beachside BBQs sparked a lifelong connection to the sea.
After starting my career as a spa therapist, I discovered the superyacht industry and have since had the pleasure of travelling to incredible destinations — from Fiji and Tahiti to the Maldives, Indonesia, and Micronesia — aboard yachts such as DRIFTWOOD, LUNASEA, and PLAN B.
Tahiti and Palau hold a special place in my heart for their stunning underwater worlds, beaches, and welcoming people.
When I’m not on the water, you’ll find me practising yoga, hiking, cooking, travelling, or creating art. I love being part of DeLisle III — from her warm, homely interior and exciting cruising destinations to the amazing crew that makes her feel like home.
