Day 1: The Fortress and the Forest
Your journey begins in Lefkas, the only island connected to the mainland by a bridge. Before departure, visit the 14th-century Agia Mavra fortress, a testament to the island’s Sicilian and Venetian heritage. We then set sail for Meganisi, an island that remains largely untouched by time. We drop anchor in Atherinos, a deep, sheltered bay where the olive groves meet the water’s edge. Spend your evening in the quiet village of Katomeri, enjoying the freshest local catch in a harbor that defines Ionian serenity.

Day 2: The Mythic Return
We sail south toward Ithaca, the legendary home of Homer’s Odysseus. Our destination is Kioni, widely considered one of the most beautiful traditional settlements in Greece. This horseshoe-shaped harbor is lined with neoclassical houses draped in bougainvillea. As you approach from the sea, you’ll pass three derelict stone windmills standing like sentinels on the headland. Dive into the crystalline waters of Filiatro beach or paddleboard into hidden sea caves before enjoying a candlelit dinner on the Kioni waterfront.

Day 3: Sapphire Depths and Venetian Echoes
Sail across the Ithaca strait to the northern tip of Kefalonia to visit Fiskardo. This is the only village on the island that was spared by the 1953 earthquake, preserving its authentic Venetian architecture and vibrant pastel colors. Today we head into the „Inner Ionian Sea” to visit the private island of Atokos. Uninhabited and rugged, it features the famous One House Bay, where the water is so clear the boat appears to be floating in mid-air. After a midday swim, we continue to Kalamos. This island is essentially a mountain rising out of the sea, covered in a rare forest of tall pines. We dock in the tiny harbor where the village lights reflect on the mirror-still water.

Day 6: Windmills and Silent Shores
Explore the „miniature” island of Kastos. With only one village and a handful of residents, it is the ultimate escape from the modern world. Visit the Windmill Bar for a panoramic view of the Greek mainland, then sail back toward Ithaca to enter Vathy, the island’s capital. Vathy is located in one of the largest natural harbors in the world, featuring the tiny islet of Lazaretto in its center.

Day 7: The Cave of Giants
On our final sailing day, we return toward Meganisi to visit the Papanikolis Cave—a massive sea cavern used as a hideout for submarines during WWII. The cave is large enough for the catamaran to enter, offering a spectacular light show as the sun hits the blue water. We finish the afternoon with a final swim at Skorpios, the famous private island of the Onassis family, before returning to Lefkas Marina.
