Spain, August 25th We want to thank you for the amazing week we spent sailing around the Ionian Islands on TAMIRO It has been a great experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Crew. You were both excellent, always making sure we were comfortable and happy. Captain always found the most beautiful places to anchor, making each stop special. And Chef cooking is incredible. We will miss you… play UNO, and the pool is open!!! You are both so generous and kind, and you must promise to open some kind of restaurant in the future. We will always remember this trip. The most amazing crew, Thank you for creating the best holiday on the beautiful Tamiro! We had a wonderful, relaxing and fun trip visiting the islands with the most amazing breakfast ( vanilla pie forever!) in the best spots. The boat was always super clean, with an impeccable service and outstanding help and understanding all of our needs! We can’t recommend you enough- We would love to have you in Italy with us!

Captain Giannis Lamprou
Born in the coastal city of Volos, Yannis has always felt a deep connection with the sea and the art of storytelling. Having studied Acting and Business Administration, he brings a unique combination of creativity, communication, and professionalism to everything he does. Today, he blends these worlds seamlessly — studied acting, currently acting as a captain — leading with confidence, empathy, and a touch of performance that makes every voyage feel unique.
His journey in the tourism and hospitality industry began at the age of 14, working as a waiter, bartender, and restaurant manager — experiences that shaped his strong work ethic and passion for exceptional service. Alongside his maritime career, Yannis has worked professionally as an actor, often performing in children’s theatre during the winter months. This background has given him a remarkable ability to adapt to his guests just as he does to his audience on stage, creating an atmosphere that is both relaxed and engaging.
Known for his great sense of humor and his warm, approachable personality, Yannis makes everyone onboard feel at ease while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism. With several years of experience as a skipper & Captain in sailing catamarans, he combines technical skill with genuine hospitality.
Fluent in Greek, English, and Italian, Yannis connects effortlessly with people from all cultures. His love for poetry, storytelling, and the sea makes him not only a skilled skipper but also a captivating host — one who transforms every voyage into an unforgettable experience.
