Captain Scott Dixon brings more than 15 years of experience managing yacht operations with a calm, capable approach and a strong focus on guest comfort. He holds a USCG 200 GRT / 500 ITC Master license, along with STCW, Able Seaman, Lifeboatman, Radar Observer, ARPA, and PADI Open Water certifications. His cruising experience spans the U.S. East Coast, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, the Florida Keys, Mexico, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Since joining M/Y JE T’ADORE, Scott has overseen the yacht’s operations between Jupiter, Florida, and Sag Harbor, New York, including itineraries to the Bahamas, New York City, Nantucket, and throughout New England. Known for his clear communication, thorough preparation, and steady leadership, Scott takes pride in creating a relaxed onboard atmosphere while ensuring every detail of the yacht and itinerary is thoughtfully managed.

Raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Abby Smith brings more than a decade of hospitality experience aboard private and charter yachts ranging from 60 to 250 feet. She has worked both as a Chief Stewardess and as part of larger interior teams, providing polished service in busy charter environments throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Europe.

Abby’s experience includes guest service, housekeeping, laundry, provisioning, table décor, event preparation, inventory management, and personalized pre-arrival planning. A professionally trained barista with a background in visual arts, she brings creativity and an excellent eye for presentation to the yacht’s interior. Abby is known for her warm, upbeat personality and her ability to anticipate guest needs while remaining adaptable and discreet. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, yoga, pickleball, and painting.

Based in Sag Harbor, Gwen Whitney brings a versatile combination of sailing experience, seamanship, and attentive guest service to M/Y JE T’ADORE. Her maritime background includes navigation support aboard the 122-foot M/Y MARINER III, serving as captain and sole crew aboard a 58-foot Alden sailing yacht, and helping deliver a 95-foot sailing yacht from Maine to South Florida while hosting charter guests onboard.

Gwen holds Inland Waters and Near Coastal Sail endorsements, STCW certification, an FCC Radio License, and PADI Open Water certification. She also studied Integrated Studio Arts at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, bringing a creative eye and strong attention to detail to the guest experience. Outside of yachting, Gwen enjoys art, yoga, sailing, scuba diving, traveling, discovering great food, and listening to live music.
