Boat - The boat was clean and the layout was great for our crew of 5. Rooms were a great size and it was nice to have three full baths. Even with 5 plus Rodrigo and Alys we never felt crowded or on top of each other.
Crew - Rodrigo and Alys were a great match with our kids and they were both extremely patient with us! Rodrigo was so good with the boys and their endless desire to fish, fantastic captain. We also really appreciated how caring they were about our experience and their collaborative approach to our itinerary. I think we quickly found out that being on the boat, fishing, seashell hunting and snorkeling was what we prioritized and they worked to maximize that time for us, leading to a terrific trip. We also really appreciated when they jumped into things that we were doing - question games, fishing, art etc.. Without a doubt they made the trip better and are a fantastic crew.
Food - the food was great, Alys did a fantastic job meeting our various needs. If you can imagine, feeding tween and teenagers is not straightforward and she did a great job balancing their food requests with what Lisa and I wanted. Kids rated her brownies 10/10!
Overall, I think they were perfect for our family and I really appreciated getting to know them! I would absolutely recommend them for others looking for a family focused trip."

Thank you for the incredible week. We were blown away starting at our first step on the boat by the welcoming crew and beautiful boat. Each day on the trip was accompanied by delicious meals by Elif, which were all well prepared, planned and full of flavor. While sailing Milla took the time to teach our group to sail and made us feel part of the crew. Our favorite stops through out the trip were Anegada and Virgin Gorda - Tipsy’s was such a fun spot! This will forever be on the top of our trips. We are forever grateful to have experienced sailing on the Apricity.

Thanks for the around the world experiences - from the drinks to the food to the cheers (cheers, skål, serefe, sagligimiza, kippis, salute, huzzah). While the wind was strong, we cruised right along. But you didn’t steer us wrong. All the stops were the tops, and the drinks really rocked. The meals were the deals, and you really set our mood, with the amazing food! The tables were set with blingy, and you gave us rides in your dingy. This trip went fast, but it won’t be our last.

Every detail, from the thoughtful itinerary to amazing meals - was perfect. We loved every snorkel spot, every stunning view, and every moment of simply soaking in the beauty of the islands. And our adventures of saving baby goats and sneaking conch shells onboard will definitely go down as highlights. Dear Milla and Elif, Thank you for hosting us on the most special vacation. You both have a heart of service. You give with joy. This made our trip! Milla, you really paid attention to the things that mattered to us and were so invested in making each day a special adventure. You do your work with love, flexibility, and playfulness. Even though you were working so hard you made it look fun. I think that makes a mast captain. Also, I felt very safe with you. You were careful and thoughtful in your decision making. Elif, you delighted us with such a range of foods. Sitting down to a beautifully prepared table time and again brought our family rest and connection. Thank you for managing the gluten free needs. Thank you for taking on that extra work with good spirit. We will always remember the special brownies that your surprised us with. This was out first time sailing in the BVIs . . . or taking any boating vacation at all for that matter, and it was absolutely heavenly. The surroundings were, of course, stunning, but it was Samantha and Adam that made the experience so wonderful for our family. They were there 100% for everything and anything we needed, but it was their warmth, kindness, sense of humor and overall positive energy that made our adventure as good as it was. We want them to come back to California with us! Samantha’s skills as a chef are RIDICULOUSLY GOOD, and we felt confident and secure with Adam at the helm. Thank you for EVERYTHING YOU TWO!

Captain Cash expertly navigated us through an unforgettable itinerary, getting us to all the experiences we had on our list—scuba diving, Anegada, the Full Moon Party, and The Baths—while also introducing us to hidden gems like the Michael Bean Show and e-foiling at Saba Rock. Her skill in sailing and anchoring made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the islands without a worry.
Chef Samantha blew us away with her incredible culinary skills! She not only created delicious meals that exceeded our expectations but also carefully accommodated our dietary preferences (limited dairy and no corn for one guest) without ever compromising on flavor. Every meal was a treat, and we were constantly amazed by her creativity in the galley.
Luna Bliss provided the perfect setting for a family adventure, and the combination of their shared expertise and hospitality made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. "A truly spectacular sailing vacation"
Apricity was extremely comfortable for our three-generation family, but what truly elevated this trip was the crew-Captain Rodrigo and Chef Alys. We shared our meal preferences in advance, and every single meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Alys’s superyacht experience was evident throughout—her creativity, skill, and attention to detail were outstanding.
Captain Rodrigo’s impressive marine background also showed in countless ways. He crafted a perfect, customized itinerary and responded thoughtfully to our family’s needs each day, ensuring the experience was seamless and memorable.
We have owned many boats—both sail and power—and have cruised in wonderful places, but this was our very first crewed charter. Having a truly great crew, as Alys and Rodrigo certainly are, takes cruising to an entirely new and deeply enjoyable level.

From the moment we stepped on board, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and fun. We instantly felt at home. You were incredibly attentive to every detail-balancing flexibility in the itinerary with a genuine focus on everyone's comfort and enjoyment.
Alys, your meals were simply superb. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all outstanding. Each morning began beautifully with a fresh fruit spread, and your creative happy hour offerings quickly became a daily highlight. Two desserts stood out in particular: the Pavlova you so thoughtfully prepared for our anniversary - a meaningful tradition from your family - and the light-as-air lemon custard that had everyone asking for the recipe.
Rodrigo, one of my favorite moments was hearing the squeals of delight as you towed our granddaughters on an inner tube around the bay. From the videos they weren't the only ones having fun. Your quick sense of humor and easygoing nature added so much joy to the experience.
You exceeded our expectations in every way. Anyone fortunate enough to charter a trip with you will not be disappointed.

CAPTAIN HENDRIK VAN WYK (DANTE)
With over eight years of professional boating experience, Captain Hendrik, known as Danté, brings a calm, confident approach to the helm and a genuine passion for life on the water. His experience across motor yachts and sportfishing vessels has taught him to combine professional seamanship with the relaxed, personable atmosphere that makes a charter truly enjoyable.
Safety and smooth operation are always at the heart of his approach, from navigating island passages and reading the weather to close-quarters maneuvering, anchoring, and docking. He particularly enjoys sharing the adventure of the Caribbean with guests, whether that means discovering a secluded anchorage, exploring a new island, getting out on the water or enjoying an exciting day of sportfishing.
Danté has a particular passion for offshore fishing and loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with guests. Whether targeting marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado, or wahoo, or simply helping someone experience the excitement of fishing for the first time, he enjoys turning time on the water into an unforgettable experience.
Naturally calm, approachable, and hands-on, Danté genuinely enjoys getting to know his guests and tailoring each day around what they want from their time aboard Apricity. For him, being Captain is about much more than safely operating the yacht. It is about creating the freedom for guests to relax, explore, and make the most of every moment on the water.
CHEF CHERAIN LOOTS
With over a decade of luxury hospitality experience, Chef Cherain brings a genuine love for cooking, entertaining and creating memorable experiences for guests aboard Apricity. Her background as a Chief Stewardess, combined with six years of owning and operating her own catering company, has given her a unique understanding of both refined service and the creativity that goes into exceptional food.
For Cherain, cooking is about much more than simply preparing a meal. She loves creating fresh, beautifully presented dishes that suit each guest, from relaxed breakfasts and lunches to elegant dinners and canapés enjoyed with a view. She takes particular pleasure in getting to know her guests’ preferences and turning those little details into personalized meals throughout their charter.
Her catering background has given her extensive experience in menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, presentation, and managing dietary requirements. At the same time, her luxury hospitality experience has taught her to naturally notice the small details that make guests feel genuinely cared for.
Her goal is simple: to make every meal part of the adventure and to create an experience that leaves guests with wonderful memories of both the food and their time aboard Apricity.
