We had the most incredible week on Destiny Unbound around St Maarten, Anguilla and St Barths, and can’t recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning everything felt effortless, and that was entirely down to our amazing crew, Captain Kieran and Chef Emma. They were professional, warm, intuitive and so much fun to be around — the perfect balance of giving us space to relax while making sure every moment was special. Because everything was so well thought out and taken care of, we were able to fully unplug and just enjoy the experience. Captain Kieran took us to the most beautiful spots for swimming and snorkeling and always had great suggestions, whether we wanted a quiet afternoon in a cove or a fun night out. Chef Emma absolutely blew us away — every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, and her desserts (especially the chocolate brownie and homemade mango sorbet!) were a huge hit with our group of two adults and six college-age kids. Evenings on board were full of stories, games and laughter, and the boat truly felt like home by the end of the week. We came away with unforgettable memories and the strong feeling that we’d experienced something really special. If you’re considering a charter in this part of the world, do it — and ask for Captain Kieran and Chef Emma. You won’t be disappointed!

Text: This trip was the culmination of my husband’s dream vacation and it did not disappoint! Our captain, Kieran and hostess/cook Emma were superb! Kieran was professional, skillful, and courteous. But so much more! He “read the room” and shared teaching experience, playfulness and laidback camaraderie that put us all at ease. He was the “snorkel whisperer” who guided our 5 year old granddaughter through learning to snorkel to become an eager and confident ocean swimmer! He jumped into D&D games with our pre-teen grandsons; gave fishing lessons and boat duties to any willing to lend a hand. All while tailoring our drop spots for the maximum opportunities to see the beauty of undersea life among quiet reefs. Emma was an extraordinary cook with fresh, nutritious, beautifully presented meals every day. She kept the boat tidy and always clean. Her banana bread was a huge hit and chocolate birthday cake a delight. Even from scratch cheesecake to die for! She was mindful of some dietary risks and skillfully planned meals to accommodate. Emma helped with our communications and travel requirements as well as reservations for land excursions and local restaurants. Both Emma and Kieran stepped up and toughed it out as a stomach bug went through almost the entire company. Rougher on some than others, we all pulled together and made the best of it. It didn’t significantly mar our overall experience due to the prompt and supportive care we received from the crew and visa versa. An odd bonding that added to our sense of finding extended family in Kieran and Em. Thank you so much for a dream fulfilled!

We sailed with Kieran and Emma on Destiny Unbound. Had a great trip thanks to their ceaseless efforts on our behalf. The sailing was great as was the food. Kieran was fantastic making our trip memorable for our grandchildren, especially our five year old granddaughter who will never forget him teaching her to snorkel. Thanks to Emma we never lacked for good snacks and tasty meals.

Captain Kieran and Chef Emma made our family BVI trip aboard the Destiny Unbound amazing. They enthusiastically accommodated all 11 of us ranging in age from 5 to 77, pivoting to quieter beaches, snorkeling reefs and amazing onshore experiences as we all fought through a stomach bug that could otherwise have derailed a less experienced crew. Don't miss the Virgin Gorda caves! We still talk about Emma's banana bread and the eggs she served in the mornings as well as Captain Kieran's boisterous big brother goofing off with the kids. He is truly the dinghy master 🙂 Emma and Kieran are genuinely kind, responsible and fun loving, and were so lucky to sail with them.

We had an amazing Christmas week with Emma and Kieran! From snorkeling shipwrecks to jumping into the turquoise Caribbean waters, we had so many fun adventures sailing the BVI. Our family has been lucky enough to take this trip through the islands several times. Kudos to Kieran for showing us new, unexplored spots with the most abundant reefs we've ever seen. Highly recommend! Thank you Emma and Kieran for hosting us and taking such great care of us all.

My wife and I took our four boys and our nephew, ages 17 to 23, on Destiny Unbound for eight nights and seven days. The boat, Bali 5.4, speaks for itself and was absolutely perfect for our crew. But even better were our Captain and Chef. Kieran was skilled, confident, calm and incredibly fun on the water in all respects. For our adventurous family, he could dial it up at any moment to get us on the right fish or the right wave or an open water sail or an on land adventure! He could also dial it down to find a chill bay or Cove or evening sunset or secluded snorkel! Emma was creative and experienced both in the kitchen and in the dining room! Serving a wide variety of dishes and catering to our preferences, both healthy and nutritious and indulgent and decadent when needed. And she had just a right temperament in terms of serving up a great atmosphere and experience that felt professional but casual at the same time. We could not have hoped for anything more and would request them again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I were part of 5 couples that just finished 5 days on Destiny Unbound. Sailing the BVI is an absolutely amazing experience. The water was beautiful, the ship was outstanding but the real difference-maker was our crew. Kieran and Emma were absolutely on top of everything and spent so much energy making our trip the best experience it could be. Great yacht, great crew, great location. Get down to the BVI!!!

This was a bucket list for my husband. A trip we could not even imagine. Our expectations were surpassed 10 fold and we're ready to sail again next year. John Dewhurst was our consultant midway, after our original consultant took leave. John always took time to answer any questions or concerns during the whole process of thinking-reserving-payments-itinerary-weather-referrals-etc. Equally as helpful was John's followup on our return! Captain Jake and Chef Joe were out of this world amazing! We had so much fun. We were so spoiled and cared for. We never had fear of safety, weather or water. All decisions Captain Jake made were on our behalf (as well as theirs), but for our enjoyment to see everything as weather permitted. A lovely sail it was. Chef Joe always had sweet flavor aromas coming from the galley. Our meals, 3 a day, were family style, gourmet, mouth watering, fat cat happy meals. We had great pleasure watching Chef Joe, as he had great pleasure in the food preparations. Gaining 6 pounds was pure delight! As a team, Jake & Joe enjoyed working together and the yacht ran smooth sailing. Loved all the islands, beaches, bars and sights of the BVI, but the thrill of the trip was the Destiny Unbound and it's crew. A very comfortable catamaran. With 5 couples plus crew, we worried about 'close quarters' and 'no private space', but it was never an issue. There is so much room on the Bali 54 Destiny Unbound!! Can't wait to sail again!

Our trip was everything we hoped for and more. The boat Destiny Unbound was in great shape and well provisioned with all our requests. Chef Joe prepared thoughtful and delicious meals. He made everyone feel at home and welcome... just a great warm spirit. Captain Jake is a master at the sticks and sails. He planned out a smooth and varied itinerary that kept everyone entertained. What a professional, and his comedic whit is a fun bonus. The two worked together as a team that felt like years of working together. NICE JOB Destiny Unbound.

Four couples spent an amazing week aboard the Destiny Unbound with Lieselot and Casey. They were superb — professional, resourceful, and well-humored with our slightly rowdy and very active crowd. The itinerary was perfect; the food and drink were first rate; the boat was plenty roomy and quite nice; and Lieselot and Casey could not have been better or more capable company.

The 5 days we spent on Destiny Unbound was the most euphoric vacation we’ve ever taken. It was truly incredible to wake up to the sun and salt every morning, and sip my coffee on the rooftop with my best friends. The water is crystal clear, the beaches and bays are what you see in magazines, you can jump right off the boat and snorkel, you don't miss one second of your trip because you’re living right on the water. We still made plenty of stops at all the favorite bars and restaurants so we had a great combo of meals on the boat and opportunities to hit a bar for happy hour and snacks. Lieselot, our captain, was incredible. She ran that boat like the boss she is and had such a light and easy personality to be with. Some of us even got to help with the sails and anchor at her direction. Casey, our chef, was second to none. I’ve never eaten so well. She clearly trained and resides in Florence, IT because it was as if we were there. She performed magic in a tiny boat kitchen. Every meal was spectacular. But most importantly she and Lieselot fit right in with our group. We made two friends on that trip! Things to note that we learned: The boat is cozy - make sure you love everyone you get on the boat with because you can’t really run away (our 4 couples have traveled a lot together and were best friends so it was perfect for our bunch)! There is such a thing as a “genny room” which is the bedroom right next to the generator - it’s loud and vibrates the bed. We were glad we had 4 couples instead of 5 so nobody had to stay in that room. My only question is when we can book this again?!

We celebrated my birthday with 3 other couples on the Destiny Unbound for 5 nights in the BVIs. It was everything and more I had expected. The catamaran was beautiful and super clean. We visited so many incredible spots with the most beautiful views. I can’t say enough great things about the crew. Lieslot and Casey were so fun, flexible, and made sure we had the best time. We still talk about how amazing Chef Casey’s food was. We ate so well all week. We can’t wait to do this trip again!

Best vacation ever! Captain Liselot and Chef Casey were the absolute best. They planned everything perfectly which made our trip seamless and so relaxing as we didn’t have to stress over any decisions. Our biggest decision was when to have our 1st Pain Killer! Can’t say enough about these two- absolutely awesome. The boat is brand new and it is also spectacular. The layout was perfect for us- there were 5 couples. Chef Casey’s food delish! Captain Liselot drove and sailed that boat like no other! We will be back!

Amazing trip to BVI aboard Destiny Unbound, a 54’ catamaran. Our captain, Lieslot, and chef, Casey, were nothing short of AMAZING. The trip exceeded all expectations. The boat was comfortable and spacious, the food outstanding in every way and we were totally confident in our captain’s knowledge of the boat, islands and tracking the weather/conditions. We had no worries for a week!

We had an amazing vacation and it had so much to do with our captain Lieselot and our chef Casey on 54 foot Destiny Unbound ! We had delicious food everyday whether it was breakfast , lunch , dinner or just a snack ! Casey was amazing ! We had great drinks made each day ! Our captain was incredible ! Lieselot got us to the closest morning balls , the best beach , she is very patient and knowledgeable . We are already looking into our next trip to the BVI and another one wherever our captain and chef will be !! The girls were professional , and so much fun !
